The last adventure of the year. Welsh and English schools are off the same week this autumn – 26 to 30 October – and we run family coasteering every morning of it, our final full week of the 2026 season.

Why mornings?
The clocks have just gone back, so the morning is the warmest, brightest part of the day – and you’re back in Tenby for lunch with the afternoon free.
How it works
A half-day guided session at Lydstep, Tenby or Stackpole – your guide picks the best-sheltered venue on the day. Swimming through caves and lagoons, scrambling the rocks, and jumps that are always optional: every route has a walk-round, and nobody leaves the water having done anything they didn’t choose. Ages 8+, and parents come in the water too (most say it’s the best thing they’ve done all year).

Is it too cold in October?
Warmer than you think. The sea off Pembrokeshire holds its summer heat well into autumn – and you’re in a full winter-spec wetsuit with helmet and buoyancy aid, all provided. You bring old trainers, a towel and a warm layer for afterwards. The cold is the bit people worry about beforehand and laugh about afterwards.
Prices
Kids £45 · adults £55 · all kit included.

Half-term FAQ
What if the weather’s bad?
We make the call the day before, and if the sea says no we offer a switch of day or a full refund – proactively, before you ask.
What should the kids wear under the wetsuit?
Swimwear, plus a rash vest or thermal top for smaller ones. We’ll size everyone up at the harbour.
How long is a session?
About half a day door to door – roughly 2 hours in the water.
Do I have to jump?
No. Jumps are always optional, always guided, and every ledge has a walk-round.
Can grandparents come?
Yes – we’ve guided 8 to 80+. If you can swim 25m and manage a rocky scramble, you’re in.

Prefer paddles to plunges? Sea kayaking runs through October too.
